Vice Chairman

Jane Olney
Jane Olney is vice chairperson of the DDA Board, chairperson of the Marketing/Advertising Committee, and was part of the committee behind the farmers market development. She was appointed to the DDA Board in July 2003.
One of Jane's goals in serving on the board is "to make Holt more business-friendly," she says. "It's important to support Holt business people. Retention is important. And we need to make the Township more user-friendly. This is one of the reasons I agreed to serve." As part of that goal, Jane has also helped make the sign ordinance more workable for township businesses.
Jane has really enjoyed serving on the DDA Board. She says, "Holt is an ideal location for businesses, nestled here between two major highways with a railway that borders and runs through our tech/industrial park to the DDA area on Keller Road." Jane is also very enthusiastic about working on the proactive procurement of new business, and about improvements to Cedar Street that are either in the works or being studied. "We've got a lot going on here," she says.
Jane is a native of Holt and a 6th generation resident of Delhi Township. She opened her Edward Jones office in Holt in 2000, and her son, John Bush, joined her business as a broker. Previous to Edward Jones, Jane served as a vice president at Capital Area School Employees Credit Union where she worked for 28 years.
