Tonia Olson
Tonia Olson is
Director of Governmental and Community Relations at Granger, where she has
worked for 14 years. "With all that experience," Tonia said, "I felt
I should be putting it to work for my community."
Tonia joined the DDA Board of Directors in September of 2011. As a new board member, Tonia says she is still learning the board's role in the community and how its process works. She has sought out areas in which her skill set would be valuable, and currently sits on the Beautification Committee.
"I enjoy the opportunity to get more connected in my community," Tonia said. "I like to see what is happening and why, and, hopefully, represent the members of the community well.” Tonia says she has been impressed with what the DDA has accomplished in the community. “I’m really excited to be doing this, and to have the opportunity to learn more and get more involved.”
Tonia and her husband built their home in Holt 11 years ago. They chose Holt because they like the area and its proximity to other communities, and they have family and friends in the area.
