SSBBank
SSBBank, now more than 101 years old, operates under the motto, “Hometown banking the way it used to be,” according to President Ron Soule. Its focus on customers and customer service has helped SSBBank earn The Community News’ “Best Bank in Holt” award two years in a row. “We were not given this award because we are the biggest or the nicest-looking bank, but because of the way we treat the people who come into our business,” Ron says. SSBBank participates in a variety of charitable activities to help the community thrive, including the Holt Hometown Festival. “We feel it’s just a part of being a good corporate citizen,” he says.
